SYSTEMA: The Modern Vandyrian Empire

At greater resolution, the Modern Vandyrian Empire emerges from the larger abstraction. Its vast rings describe successive reaches of Imperial space, enclosing regions whose apparent borders span enormous transitional distances rather than simple territorial lines. Within these formations lie the domains conventionally identified as the Core Worlds, surrounded by the broader wake of modern Vandyrian civilization.

The term “Core Worlds” is itself deceptive. They do not occupy a single galaxy, nor do the rings describe a conventional galactic center. What appears here as a coherent inner region extends across innumerable galaxies and stellar populations, bound together by extraordinary concentrations of Imperial settlement, infrastructure, and continuity.

Beyond these rings, modern dominion gives way to the surviving reaches of the Elder and Primal Vandyrian Empires. Yet even here, the Modern Empire remains an abstraction. Greater resolution is required.
